A Day for the History Books

The Wall of Trash is no longer... (The literal one, not this web one seeing as it's still here.) I had to take it down. I'm not sure why. One day, I woke up and decided I needed a change, I guess! It was so weird taking it down. That was like a collage of the last 7 years of my life! I put it all into a box. My plan is to keep it in there, open it up in 5 years, laugh at it, and then burn it or something! There were just three things that I couldn't bring myself to put in the box. 1. A note that 3 wonderful friends of mine wrote to me when I had a terrible day. 2. Is my "Pug Life" magnent that I bought in California. 3. My poster of Deron Williams. He's coming to school with me! That's all for today folks! I just wanted to share this milestone in my life with you all!

General Conference Inspired!

Okay, I'll be honest. These stories hardly have anything to do with General Conference, but my mind flipped to these stories as I watched Conference. They're churchy I guess!

Priesthood Choir
All right, last October... or the one before that.... My brothers, Jacob and Tyler, sang in the choir during Priesthood session. (Is Priesthood supposed to be capitalized?) Since I am unable to go to Priesthood session (dangit!), my mom found out that families were allowed to come watch the dress rehearsal the Wednesday before conference. Let's think about this... 300 boys, in suits, singing... I am SO there!!!

I chose to wear my bright yellow, super-cute coat! We arrived at the Conference Center when the boys were still waiting in line to get inside. I made my way into the sea of boys and everyone I knew was so excited to see me! A ton of boys running up to me giving me hugs and saying hello! They wanted everyone else to know that they knew the only eligible female there :) I want you to picture this-All of those boys in black suits and one girl in a sunshine yellow coat running around!!! It was so awesome! One of the best times of my life!

M&M - Mariah and Mutual...(That was rarely a good combo.)
In preparation for trek, we went to take a special, pioneer oriented tour of The Church History Museum. At the end of the tour, our tour guide gathered all of us in a circle and sort of bore her testimony I guess? She said,"I pray the the fire of the covenant will burn in your hearts as you go on trek." At that very moment, my heart began to hurt/burn way bad! I am not joking! So I grabbed my heart and screamed!!! Oh it killed! That woman probably thought I was just being dumb, but I wasn't. It legitimately burned! I just thought I'd clear that up!

And Now, For The Grand Finale!!!!
Whenever people ask for my most embarrassing moment, this is what I tell them. I don't really get embarrassed, I just think things are funny! I can laugh at myself.

I don't know if any of you went to the Draper Temple Open House, so I'll explain how the system worked! You drove your car to a stake center, got of, had a devotional thingy, and then loaded onto a bus that would drop you off at the temple. This story takes place after we had already gone to the temple, so the bus was just dropping us off to the stake center. As I hopped off the bus, I challenged Jacob and his friend Andrew to a race back to the car. I didn't realize that we were on the side of a mountain! So, I ran as fast as I could, (in my Electric Lime Green Heels, mind you) up the hillish parking lot. I got to the car first! I slammed my hand down onto the hood of the car and yelled,"I WIN!!!!!!" Satisfied with my win, I made my way to the side of the car. I opened the door just enough for the light inside the car turned on........... And guess what. . . . . THERE WAS A BOY INSIDE CHANGING HIS PANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHH! It was the wrong car. Our car was two spots away.
