Hello Again!

Wow. I haven't blogged in so long that I forgot how. I'd like to update this thing even if no one reads it!      An update on me: I'm currently attending BYUI, I'm an Earth Science Education major (Yes, I want to teach middle school), that's basically what's new with me... I love life! I love my family!

I've been thinking a lot lately about the example that I am to those around me. I recently went home to visit my family and right before I left I was playing with my baby sis outside. I think spitting is one of the nastiest things ever, but for some reason I can't explain, I spit on the grass. I looked up and Ella was leaning over with saliva all over her lips trying to spit on the grass. I thought it was so funny! I told my mom about it a few weeks later and she said,"You're the one who taught her how to spit?! She does that all the time now!"

I didn't think much of it, but I realized that the one time I slipped up and did something foul, (spitting in the grass) Ella noticed and started doing it too. Now, I am freaked out! I have realized that my siblings seriously look up to me and the example I set for them is so important. It has helped me truly have the desire to live a Christ-like life. Not just for myself, but because that is what I want for my siblings. I want so badly to be a light in their life that they can look to for a good example, but I feel like I am so far from that! Wish me luck as I lead them through this crazy world! Hopefully I won't trip up when it comes to bigger things than just spitting on the grass!

Speaking of examples, can I just say, my mom is a rockstar! She's seriously an angel. That amazing woman teaches a class rambunctious  of fourth graders, runs at least 3 miles a day, cooks delicious dinner for 8 everyday, serves everyone, never talks badly of anyone, and on top of all of that, she serves our ward as Relief Society president! Her spirit literally glows with the light of Christ! I want to be just like her when I grow up. She would never brag about herself like this because she is so humble, so I get to do it for her!

Goodnight and Good luck, world!
